'Conroy Dance Centre' students have been participating in dance eisteddfods for over 15 years, consistently producing high-quality work in all subjects.
We do not audition our students for eisteddfod teams. All students who are of an appropriate standard for their age are invited and encouraged to participate. Group eisteddfods provide a fantastic training ground for the future performer, and develop self-discipline, commitment, self-confidence and motivation in the student. They are also great fun!!
A separate fee of $385 covers all group eisteddfod tuition, entry fees and performer's passes. There is only one fee regardless of the number of items or age groups a student participates in. Group eisteddfod rehearsals are held Friday afternoons (10's & 15's ) or Sunday afternoons (6's, 8's, 12's & Open) from March through to our final eisteddfod for the year, which is usually in early June. Solos are also available for the extremely talented and motivated student. These are taught by private lesson with a choreographer or teacher of your choosing.
Our students have been extremely successful at eisteddfods, winning major prizes at every eisteddfod they have competed in for the past 10 years.
