Examination results are always very pleasing and reflect the time, effort and dedication put into this. In the RAD Classical Exams there was a 100% pass rate in both grades and majors. 
This year for the grades examinations,  students 130 out of  149 gained a 'Distinction', with 2 students achieving 100%. 35 out of the 149 students who gained a Distinction achieved a mark of  90% or over. 4 students received 98%, , 1 student reaching 96% and 4 students gaining 95%. Their examiner for their session this year was Miss Pricilla Teoh.
Major examinations went extremelly well for our students with 29 out of 47 gaining a  'Distinction' with examiner Ms Sheila Laing. Two students achieved a result of 97% and one receving 92% for Intermediate Foundation, with another gaining 90% for Intermediate. Many students gained marks in the high 80% range, 2 students gained 87%.

In 2007 the following students were all accepted into the Australian Ballet School's Junior Associate Interstate Program - Liam Fien, Amber Ivers, Adrian Detar, Yhale Fien & Ashlen Garrett. In 2009 Liam commenced full-time studies at the Australian Ballet School.

 

Royal Academy of Dance - Classical Exams

Excellent results are obtained in all levels of RAD Ballet examination. Entries for these go in about Easter time. It is a great honour to be an RAD registered school, with registered teachers. Classical is also an essential subject if wishing to excel in any other area of dance whether it is funk, jazz or tap. Exam children must keep this second week free of the June/July holidays for exam vacation school. Must attend two classes per week. Distinctions are gained by more than 90% of candidates in grade exams and in Major exams again a very large percentage of Distinctions are obtained.

 

CSTD Theatrical, Tap & Jazz Exams

These are high quality exams in these subjects. Must be taking classical classes as well, to be considered for entry. Exams are October onward. Most children will be offered an examination. Entries close about early August. Brilliant examination results are obtained with Honours Plus (over 95%) marks being gained by an extreme number of students. Students are needed part of the second week of Sept/Oct school holidays for vacation school if taking these exams.  In 2009 the following results were achieved.  391 entries - 204 'Honours Plus', 145 'Honours'.
